Retrogaming is the name given to
the sport of playing old classic games for whatever reasons (usually
sheer nostalgia). In the timeline of gaming evolution, an important era
belongs to the home computer boom of the early 80's. Some call it the
8-bit age others call it the "golden age", but the fact remains that
some of the most creative, whacky, innovative and ground breaking games
came about during this era. Some of it have been lost in the mist of
time forever, and some others have been kept alive by the efforst of
various retrogaming fans.
In this section are featured two home computers - the Spectrum and the
SAM Coupé. The former is one of the classic 8-bit home computers
of all time and the latter is a not so well known machine that could
have been a classic if it had come out earlier than it did.
